You could look out for these symptoms
Parkinson's disease manifests uniquely in each individual, with early symptoms often subtle and easily overlooked. These can include mild tremors, difficulty rising from a chair, soft speech, slow handwriting, shuffling steps, and reduced arm swinging. Typically, symptoms start on one side of the body and tend to persist more prominently on that side, even as they eventually affect both sides.
Rigidity
Muscle stiffness may occur in any part of your body.
Akinesia
May slow your movement, making simple tasks difficult and time-consuming.
Tremor
Rhythmic shaking, called tremor, usually begins in a limb, often your hand or fingers.
Posture

Most of the information and statics emerges from the US. This conclusively shows us that there is a severe lack of awareness and research in India regarding Parkinson’s. India has made great strides in the research of diabetes, tuberculosis, malaria, covid-19, etc. but we need to ensure that neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s are also seen. As the number of Parkinson’s cases continue to grow, and no cure to stop it, we need to ensure that our country also makes a valiant effort to try and stop this degenerative disease.
In India, an accurate number of PD patients remains uncertain owing to the unawareness of PD symptoms in the geriatric population and the large discrepancy between the number of PD patients and trained neurologists. Treatment options available
